Creating a Video Playlist

WordPress lets users add audio and video playlists on its 3.9 version. You can easily add audio and video playlists like image galleries. By adding a video playlists, your visitors can watch all the videos you want to show on a single post/page. It is easier for your visitors to access all the videos at the same page, and it is better for you to get more traffic.

Before creating a playlist, you are required to upload videos on your website via WordPress Admin Panel. To do so, go to Media -> Add New and select files from the local disk

Note: You can increase WordPress file upload limit to avoid exceeding the maximum upload size.

Create a New Video Playlist

Follow the below instruction to create a new video playlist:

1. Go to your WordPress Admin Panel
2. Click?Pages/Posts?on the Dashboard
3. Click?Add New
4. Navigate to the top left hand of the WordPress editor and find?Add Media
5. Click?Create Video Playlist
6. ?Select the files you want to include in the playlist
7. Click on Create a new video playlist button on the bottom right hand corner
   • You are able to rearrange videos by drag and drop
8. Then click on?Insert video playlist?to have the playlist on your post

Edit the Playlist

Each video can have image, too. To upload an image for videos, you can simply follow the below:

1. Navigate Media -> Library
2. Select the file you want to edit and click on the Edit
3. Click on Edit more details at the right bottom of the popup
4. Here you can edit meta information for the video file or upload a Featured Image
